How to Unlock the Characters in Mortal Kombat Deception

"Mortal Kombat Deception" for the Sony PlayStation 2 includes favorite characters such as Liu Kang and Sonya Blade from the original and the usual assortment of special movies and "Fatalities." "Mortal Kombat Deception" also introduces several new characters, but many of them are hidden. You must progress through the whole game and collect certain items, like a load of jade or onyx coins, to unlock them all.

Instructions

  Open Koffin DM in the Krypt to get Noob Smoke. You will need 3,642 onyx coins to open this "koffin." Open Koffin OI with 2,417 jade coins in the Krypt to get the character Jade.

  Finish "Konquest" mode to earn the hidden character Shujinko.

  Open treasure chests in Earthrealm to get Kenshi and Kira. Kenshi can be found in a chest in section E-4 of the map while Kira is in a chest in section H-2.

  Find Havik in a treasure chest in map section H-4 in Chaosrealm.

  Go to a house in map F-7 of the Outworld to geet Li Mei. Tanya is also found in Outworld. Look for a treasure chest on section A-3 of the map. Sindel is in a treasure chest at map location D-1 in Netherrealm.

  Find both Raiden and Hotaru in Orderrealm. Hotaru is in a treasure chest on map section H-1 while you must defeat Raiden on map location E-3 after completing "Konquest" mode to earn him as a playable character.
