How to Unlock MK3 on the New Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

"Mortal Kombat: Armageddon" is an action arcade game for the PlayStation2. While a violent and graphic game, it is in a line of popular games. Some new features include playable characters that were not available in the past, different fatalities, and unlocking MK3, an old game where players can play with just the Armageddon game disc. Unlike secrets in many other games, you cannot unlock this by completing a certain task in the game. Rather, it is built into the game.

  Verify your "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon" is a premium edition of the game. You should see the words "premium edition" both on the disc and the game package. MK3 is only available in the premium edition, not the standard edition.

  Insert the game into your PlayStation 2 console with the graphic side face up.

  Press the "Power" button on the game console to turn on the game.

  Press "Start" or "X" on your controller once the main screen appears. This will bring you to the menu screen, where you have more options.

  Scroll down to "Extras" and press "X." You will see "MK3" in the new menu; press "X" again to play the game.
