Mega Man X7
"Mega Man X7" is the seventh installment in the "Mega Man X" spin-off series, and was released in North America on October 14, 2003. The game begins after the original Mega Man X robot is retired and follows a robot named Axl, who fights against a newly-rebuilt robot overlord known as "Sigma" and his gang of robots known as "Mavericks."
Mega Man X8
"Mega Man X8" follows "Mega Man X7" in the Mega Man X franchise, and was released in North America on December 7, 2004. This game brings the original Mega Man X out of retirement and puts him on a mission to rescue a new shape-shifting robot from the clutches of Sigma, who has once again been rebuilt by his minions.
Mega Man X: Command Mission
"Mega Man X: Command Mission," unlike the other games in the Mega Man X franchise, is a role-playing game. Released on September 21, 2004, the game makes use of a turn-based battle system, with battles occurring randomly during any level. The game puts players in control of Mega Man X, Zero and a Maverick Hunter known as Shadow, who do battle with the forces of an evil being known as "Redips."
Mega Man Power Battle Fighters (Japan Only)
"Mega Man Power Battle Fighters" is a fighting game released only in Japan on August 5, 2004. The game is actually a compilation of two fighting games, "Mega Man: The Power Battle" and "Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters." Both of these games pit the different heroes and villains of the original "Mega Man" series against each other in Mega Man-style boss fights to determine the strongest robot in the series.
Mega Man X Collection
"Mega Man X Collection" is a collection of Mega Man X games. The collection was released on January 10, 2006 in North America and contains the first six games in the "Mega Man X" series. These games circle around a robot (known as "X" or "Mega Man X") and his constant battles against a gang of robots known as the Mavericks, led by Sigma.
Mega Man Anniversary Collection
"Mega Man Anniversary Collection" is a collection of games in the original Mega Man series released on June 25, 2004. The collection comprises the first eight games in the "Mega Man" series, along with the two Mega Man fighting games that make up the "Mega Man Power Battle Fighters" collection.
