List of PS2 Action Games for Two Players

The Sony PlayStation 2 has over 1,000 games in its collection, many of them in the action genre. Sadly, many action games are one-player or online multiplayer-only, forcing your friends to watch the game when you play. But there are a few quality multiplayer titles that stick out and make great party games.

"Dynasty Warriors 6"
- In "Dynasty Warriors 6," two players can battle together in the fantasy battlefields of Ancient China. Try to unify the country under one banner using over 20 characters as you hack, slash and destroy hordes of troops.
"Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks"
- This spinoff of popular "Mortal Kombat" fighting game series stars Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Juggle bad guys between each character by punching and kicking them into the air.
"Ghostbusters: The Video Game"
- Egon, Ray. Winston and Peter are back as the Ghostbusters battle the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man and other ghosts in this sequel to "Ghostbusters II." Trap ghosts using proton packs and traps from the film series. Run into other characters from the series as well, including Walter Peck as he tries to keep the team in check as the head of the Paranormal Contract Oversight Committee.
