How to Save Your Game in Grand Theft Auto 3 on PS2

Beginning "Grand Theft Auto 3" players are often confused about the save feature. Unlike some other games, GTA3 does not allow you to save your game anywhere, or at any point in the game. To save the game, you'll need to travel to a special location. By using your map, it's rather simple to find.

Instructions

      Make sure you have a memory card inserted into your PS2. Examine your map. Find the location marked by a green house. This is your safe house. At this location, you can save your game.

      Use the map as a guide to travel to the safe house. Travel by car if you are far away from the location. You are represented by a white dot on the map.

      Walk through the safe house doors. Once inside, walk through the door next to the garage entrance. Here you will be prompted to save your game.
