Instructions
Download the ADXUtil software application (see Resources for a link) and install it onto your computer by following the installation wizard instructions.
Make sure that the PS2 game you want to copy from has ADX audio. Do this by either checking the back of the game cover for the ADX logo or looking for the logo in the game's opening screens. If you find the logo, the game is ADX audio-formatted.
Insert the PS2 game disc into your computer's DVD disc drive. If you have a DVD burner, do not insert the game into the burner but rather the DVD drive only.
Click the ADXUtil program desktop icon to open and run the application.
Choose "Open Archive" under the "Files" tab in the ADXUtil application.
Click on the "Start" tab, which is found in the lower-left area of the desktop. Click "My Computer," and then click on the DVD drive icon in which your PS2 disc is inserted. The disc opens and the contents are shown.
Search for the sound files in the PS2 disc. When you find the sound files, click on the ones that are labeled ADX.
Allow ADXutil to upload all of the sound files and browse the music files that you want to copy.
Click the "Extract to folder" button under the "Commands" tab to rip and copy the PS2 soung file to your hard drive. Repeat for the entire soundtrack.
