Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console with a ̶0;Guitar Hero̶1; or ̶0;Rock Band̶1; game inserted into the drive.
Plug the wireless ̶0;Guitar Hero III̶1; dongle that came with the Kramer controller into the front of the console. One potential issue is that the wireless dongle for a different wireless controller was plugged into the console in place of the correct one.
Turn on the guitar controller by flipping the switch on the back of the controller to the ̶0;On̶1; position. The issue might be that the controller was not turned on.
Hold the button on the wireless dongle down for three seconds. This will start the wireless sync process.
Press a fret button on the wireless Kramer guitar controller. This will sync the controller and dongle together. The issue with the controller might have been that the original sync was not performed correctly--or at all.
Remove the battery cover on the back of the controller. The screwdriver will be needed for this. If the other steps have not resolved the issue, the batteries in the controller are probably dead.
Replace the batteries with two fresh AA batteries.
Replace the battery cover onto the wireless Kramer guitar controller.
Repeat steps three to five to sync the controller to the console. The issues with the ̶0;Guitar Hero III̶1; guitar controller should now be resolved.
