Search for cars during the day. Daytime hours present more traffic throughout the city, and the chances of you finding the cars needed are increased. Look for cars right in front of the dealership. The road that passes the dealership features heavy traffic, and you should be able to find the majority of cars needed right there, especially for the first two lists.
Travel to the proper socio-economic district for the car that you are searching for. List 1 requires several lower-class cars, so travel to lower-class districts like Little Havana and Little Haiti. Middle-class cars can be found in Vice Point and Washington Beach, while upper-class vehicles can be found in Ocean Beach and Starfish Island. It doesn̵7;t matter what condition the car is in, so don̵7;t worry about damaging the vehicle on the way to the garage. The best way to tackle each list is to continue playing the game and keep in mind the vehicles you need. That way you can steal them as you go without wasting too much time searching for them.
Sports Cars
Travel to places where the cars usually spawn. List 3 requires several sports cars, which are rare on the road but do spawn in several locations. The Cheetah, for example, spawns at your mansion on Starfish Island. An Infernus spawns near the parking structure in Washington Beach, while the Comet can be found at the Leaf Links golf course. Other sports cars can be found near the luxury estates in Vice City.
Specialty Cars
Travel to gang territory to acquire the gang cars for List 4. The Voodoo can be found in Little Haiti, and the Cuban Hermes can be found in Little Havana. Other specialty vehicles can be found at their place of business. The Caddy golf cart can be found at the golf course, a Baggage can be found at the airport and the Pizza Boy can be found at any pizza restaurant. The Mr. Whoopee ice cream truck must be purchased at the Ice Cream Factory near Little Havana.
