How to Plug Guitar Hero Drums into a PlayStation 2

The popular Guitar Hero series has expanded into new instruments with recent games like Guitar Hero: World Tour. Plugging the drums from World Tour into the PlayStation 2 can be confusing, because the wire's connector does not fit into the PlayStation 2's controller port. However, even though the drums do not fit into the controller ports, plugging them into the system is very simple.

• Guitar Hero: World Tour drum kit

     Turn your PlayStation 2 on. If there is a disc in the system other than the Guitar Hero: World Tour disc, remove it.

   • 2

     Plug the connector wire from the drums into the PlayStation 2's USB port. The USB port is a rectangular-shaped connector located to the right of the controller ports.

   • 3

     Insert the Guitar Hero: World Tour disc into the console.

   • 4

     Check to see if the game recognizes your drum kit.
