How to Unlock Hercules in God of War II

God of War II takes place in the mythological world of ancient Greece. At the end of the first God of War, protagonist Kratos defeated Ares and became the new god of war. Now he must contend with the other gods' resentment and battle against horrific mythical beasts. After completing God of War II, you'll have the chance to change things up by unlocking a Hercules costume and playing through the game as Kratos in Hercules form.

Instructions

  Beat the game on any difficulty level to unlock the hardest difficulty level: "Titan Difficulty Mode."

  Start a new game and select "Titan Difficulty Mode" from the difficulty selection screen.

  Complete the game on Titan Difficulty and you'll unlock the Hercules costume.
- 4
  Start a new game and choose any difficulty from the difficulty selection screen. A new costume selection screen will appear. Select "Hercules Costume" from the options, in order to play through as Kratos's Hercules form.
