How Do You Fly a Helicopter in Grand Theft Auto Vice City?

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" was released in 2002 for the Playstation 2 console. This sequel in Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto" series allows players to explore the fictional Vice City in the 1980s. With each "GTA" installment, Rockstar Games adds new vehicles and aircrafts. In "GTA: Vice City," one new aircraft is the helicopter.

Instructions

  Find the helicopter by going to the stairs at the back of the police station. Go up to the roof to find the helipad with the helicopter.

  Approach either side of the helicopter. Press the button with the triangle to enter the aircraft.
- 3
  Press "X" to increase your altitude and the button with the square to decrease it. Press "L3" to cause the craft to hover. Use "L2" and "R2" to control the tail of the helicopter. The button with the circle will fire any weapon contained on the helicopter. The button with the triangle will cause you to jump out of the aircraft.
