How to Make Custom Sims 2 Hairstyles

You can create hundreds of customized hairstyles for your Sim in Sims 2 for Playstation 2. Once you've unlocked all wardrobe options, you will have even more hairstyles to choose from. A variety of hairstyle options allow you to give your Sim a customized look to suit his look or personality. Male Sims can choose from 17 different styles, most with five color options and three accessory options each, while female Sims have 19 styles with five to six color options and up to three accessory options.

Instructions

  Unlock all hairstyle options either by completing game goals or using the cheat code. To access the cheat code, begin a game with any character. Once your character is at a house, press these buttons in rapid succession: left 1, right 1, up arrow, x button, right 2. A prism statue will appear. Then enter the code square button, right 2, down arrow, right arrow, square button to unlock all fashion options. Approach the statue, select object action (x button), select "Unlocks," then select "Unlock All Clothing."

  Approach the Dream Maker Fantasy Dresser or the Tahdis Wardrobe. (If you do not have one in the house, you can purchase one. Go to the "Start" menu, select "Buy Catalog" and select "Miscellaneous.") Select action (x-button) to "Change Clothes."

  Select "Head" using the x button, then "Hair." Use direction buttons (arrows) to scroll to the hairstyle of your choice, then "Select."

  Change hair color by using left- or right-arrow buttons under the "Color" option (crayon icon). Most hair styles have five to six color options. For many styles, you can also select "Accessory Sets" (star icon). Arrow left or right to change these options.

  Discard or cancel any style or changes using the green triangle button. When you are satisfied with your choices, select "Done," then "Done" again to exit back out to the game. Select "Yes" to save, "No" to continue without saving or "Cancel" to return to the "Clothing Options" menu.
