Most people will agree that Final Fantasy X remains one of the best games for the PS2. Final Fantasy X has a complex storyline that immerses the gamer in a world of fantasy. The main character is Tidus, whose hometown was devastated by a monster named Sin early in the game. Tidus then goes on to try and defeat the monster. This game has sold over six million copies worldwide as of January 2010.
Kingdom Hearts
As an unusual combination of a Disney cartoon and Final Fantasy characters, Kingdom Hearts turned out to be a good mix of both worlds. The main character, Sora, takes the gamer on a Disney-filled adventure to find his lost friends. Although dark and ominous at times, the game is lightened considerably by the Disney element. Kingdom Hearts can be addictive and provides countless hours of fun for many age groups. Over 12 million copies of Kingdom Hearts have been sold worldwide to date.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Grand Theft Auto games allow gamers to explore their dark side. The main character steals vehicles and commits crimes, with the goal of becoming the head of the criminal underworld. The San Andreas game was the most complex and technically sophisticated game in the series when it was released. This game is widely considered to be the best game released for the PS2 console.
