How to Create Your Own Character in Dynasty Warriors 4

Customization is a growing trend in video games. Create-a-character options add a new level to the gameplay, allowing players to become more personally involved. Dynasty Warriors 4 for the PlayStation 2 gives gamers the option in Edit Mode. Follow these steps and you'll have your character ready for battle in no time.

Things You'll Need

PlayStation 2 game console (or a backward-compatible PlayStation 3)
PlayStation 2 memory card
Dynasty Warriors 4 game disc

Instructions

  On the main menu, press the START button, then choose EDIT MODE.

  On the next screen, select OFFICER EDIT.

  You can save up to four characters. Choose a slot and name your character. After confirming the name, you will choose its gender.

  Now you can edit your character's appearance. You must define a color for your character, as well as the clothing he wears on his head, chest, arms, legs and hips. Once you're happy with his appearance, confirm it and proceed to selecting your character's fighting style. You can choose between varying sword, pike, and great sword styles.

  Choose YES to save your character to the memory card.
