What Is Vice City About?
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City takes place in the fictional setting of Vice City. The city is based off of Miami and the game takes place during the 1980s. Players will recognize many 1980s trademarks including tributes to Scarface and Miami Vice.
How Is It Different from Grand Theft Auto 3?
Grand Theft Auto 3 featured a lot of innovation, but Vice City expands on this greatly. Players can now drive motorcycles, change into multiple outfits and visit places like the beach. The game also features innovative lighting techniques and advanced graphics.
What Kind of Weapons Can Players Use?
The game features 35 weapons including hammers, chainsaws, guns, bazookas and even a sniper. Weapons are acquired through hidden sections of the game or by purchasing them at a gun store. Weapons are also won by winning missions during the game.
How Many Levels Are There?
Vice City is known as a "Sandbox" game because players can freely roam the city at their leisure. There is no list of level and missions can be completed whenever necessary. Different sections of the city can be opened up as more levels are completed or players can run around doing whatever they like.

Vice City was originally available for only the PlayStation 2, but a few years after its release, the game expanded to both the Windows operating system and the Xbox gaming system.
