How to Perform Ladder Moves in WWE Smackdown VS. Raw 2008

One of the more innovative matches in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is the Money in the Bank ladder match. This six-person battle, to see who climbs the ladder and grabs the suitcase first, is fast-paced and action-packed. The key to winning any ladder match is to use the ladder to damage your opponent. The moves can be tricky and unless you have them mastered, you could get attacked by an opponent before you can do a move.

Instructions

- 1
  Climb to the outside of the ring by pressing the "X" button and the direction of the side you want to escape from. There are five opponents in the Money in the Bank match, so keep your eye out for any attacking foes.

  Approach a ladder and press the “X” button to pick it up. Press the “Triangle” button to run back into the ring with the ladder in your hands.

  Walk towards a corner and set the ladder up in the corner by pressing the direction of the corner and “X” at the same time. Irish whip your opponent to the corner by pressing “R1”, “Square”, and the direction of the corner at the same time. Press up on the right analog stick to perform a ladder move onto your opponent.

  Set up the ladder in the center of the ring by pressing “X” when you are holding it. Wait for two opponents to climb to the top. Press the up directional button on the left analog stick and “X” when you are near the ladder. Your wrestler will tip the ladder over and send both wrestlers flying to the mat and potentially to the outside of the ring.

  Store a finisher by pressing “L1” and “L2” at the same time. Set up a ladder in the center of the ring and wait for one opponent to climb to the top. Press the “L1” button to perform a ladder finisher where you will suplex your opponent off of the top of the ladder or perform another move.

  Set up a ladder in the center of the ring. Bring another ladder into the ring and walk towards the one already set up. Press “X” to set that ladder up diagonally against the other one. Wait for your opponent to climb up the ladder and then run up the one that is set up by pressing “Triangle” and then press “Square” when you are near the top to clothesline him off.

  Bring a table into the ring during a “tables, ladders and chairs” match. Set the table up by pressing “X”. Set a ladder up near the table. Irish whip your opponent towards the table and when he crashes into it, press the right analog stick up to lay him on it. Climb to the top of the ladder by pressing “X” and up. Press “Square” at the top of the ladder to perform a high flying move and smash your opponent through the table.
