How to Unlock More Tag Duel Opponents in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5 D's 2009

"Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator 2009," released for the Nintendo DS in 2009, is based on the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" anime and card game. In "Stardust Accelerator," players can duel opponents in two different modes: Single and Tag. In a Tag Duel, you and a teammate compete against two computer opponents. However, not all opponents are available to challenge at the start of the game. You can unlock over 20 additional Tag Duel opponents by performing the necessary prerequisites. When unlocked, these opponents can be dueled in World Championship Mode at any time.

Instructions

  Unlock Tag Duel opponents by using specific cards during any match. To unlock Cyber Dragon and Drillroid, you must summon the Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill card. To unlock FGD and Cyber Dark Dragon, use the FGD card during a match. Use the Rainbow Dark Dragon card to unlock the Rainbow Dark Dragon and Fire Wagon opponents. Unlock the Mist Valley Soldier and Red Dragon Archfiend-Assault Mode by summoning the Red Dragon Archfiend-Assault Mode card.

  Unlock opponents by winning a match using a card's special ability. Unlock Exodia and Tragodiea by winning with the Exodia card's special effect; Golgar and Venominaga by winning using the Venominaga card's special effect; and Ruin and Demise by winning with the Final Countdown card.

  Unlock the following Tag Duel opponents by winning five Tag Tournaments: Dark Armed Dragon and Dark Monarch Gaius, and The Splendid Venus and Summoned Skull.

  Listen to the Tag Duel tutorial in Story Mode to unlock both Breaker Magical Warrior and the Marauding Captain, along with Horseytail and Gokipon.

  Win five times against 20 different Tag pairs in World Championship Mode to unlock the following opponents: Raioh and Batteryman Charger along with Horus Lv. 8 and Silent Swordman Lv. 5.

  Win a match using the Destiny Board to unlock Spirit Reaper and Necrofear. Achieve over 20,000 Attack Points in a match to unlock Cyber End Dragon and Chimeratech Overdragon and over 10,000 Duelist Points to unlock Abyss Soldier and Neo Daedalus.

  Win the Riding Duel in Story Mode 200 times to unlock both DD Survivor and Wind Monarch Raiser along with E Hero Airman and D Hero Devilguy.

  Win 200 Tag Duels in either mode to unlock the final three Tag Duel opponents: Medium of Ice Boundary and Flamevell Baby, Simorgh Divinity and Simorgh Ancestry, and Super Conductor Tyranno and Ultimate Tyranno.
