How to Get the Black Star Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Tenkaichi 3

Within the "Dragon Ball Z" anime franchise, different dragons are summoned by different Dragon Balls, such as the Black Star Dragon Balls. In the PlayStation 2 game "Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3," you can still summon dragons, but they aren't nearly as picky about what sort of Dragon Balls you use. The dragons in "Budokai Tenkaichi 3" are all summoned by the same set of Dragon Balls. The dragon that appears is simply luck of the draw.

Instructions

  Gather all of the Dragon Balls in the game. Dragon Balls can be acquired in one of two ways. The first way is to search for them within breakable objects, such as rocks or buildings. Smashing through all breakable objects will turn up Dragon Balls. The other way is to compete in tournaments. Dragon Balls are randomly rewarded for tournament wins. You will know when all the Dragon Balls have been gathered as a the option "Shenron" appears within your main menu.

  Save your game before proceeding. Select the "Shenron" menu option to summon the dragon. There is the chance that the Dragon Balls will summon a dragon of a color other than the one you were looking for. If this happens, exit and relaunch the game. Load the saved game file that you created before you used the Dragon Balls. Continue until you get the dragon of your choosing.

  Ask the dragon to grant your wish. Available wishes include additional Z points, unlockable characters or unlockable game stages.
