How Do You Get Dia to Like You in Harvest Moon for the PS2?

Unlike in most other ̶0;Harvest Moon̶1; games, you cannot marry anyone in "Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland." Most of the traditional relationship mechanics do not appear in this game as a result of this change. However, getting Dia and the other girls in the game's town to like you is important to completing several quests and obtaining certain endings. For example, you need Dia to like you in order to complete the Goddess Dress quest.

Instructions

  Go to the Sunny Garden Café & Bar on Maple Lake.

  Pick blueberries from the bush next to the café. You cannot pick berries during the winter, but the blueberries are available during any other season. Do not sell the blueberries.

  Talk to Dia. Choose to feed her blueberries when the option appears. This action increases how much she likes you each time you perform it.

  Examine the diary in your house. You must do this to go to bed and advance to the next day. The Goddess appears each night to grant you a wish.

  Choose ̶0;Girl̶1; as your wish. Choosing this wish instantly increases how much one of the girls likes you. The girl whom the wish affects is always chosen randomly. Since there are five girls in the game, there is a 20 percent chance that Dia will be the girl whom the wish affects.
