How to Finish the Publicity Campaign in Final Fantasy X-2

In "Final Fantasy X-2" for the PlayStation 2, players can choose to spearhead a publicity campaign for one of two companies in the Calm Lands region. Argent Inc. and Open Air have both set up shop here, catering to tourists and adventurers like you with mini-games. After you've chosen which company's publicity campaign you want to support, completing that campaign to level 5 will unlock several new items from their vendors and award you an "Episode Complete." The two companies will then merge and become the Calm Skies Partnership.

Instructions

- 1
  Press "Square" in front of any NPC in the Calm Lands to present them with a campaign pitch. Choose from one of the five pitches. Depending on the level of enthusiasm in the NPC's response, you will gain a number of points between one and five. Speak to a representative of your chosen company to find out how many points you have accumulated so far.

  Play the mini-game attractions set up by the company you have chosen to assist. It helps to have a lot of credits if you intend to gain points through this method, as a small fraction of the credits you lose to these games is converted to points toward your publicity level.
- 3
  Progress through the main chapters of the regular game. Your publicity level for your chosen company can only be one level higher than the number of your current chapter. If you are on Chapter 2, your publicity level cannot be higher than three. If you reach publicity level five and then Chapter 5 of the main game, you'll receive an "Episode Complete" for the Calm Lands region and unite the two companies.
