How to Get Past the Finger in God of War 2

In "God of War II," Kratos rides the mythical Pegasus to the Temple of the Fates to get revenge for the betrayal of Zeus. As you fly, Pegasus takes a detour through the Lair of the Titan. Here, the stone Titan, Typhon, promptly traps Pegasus beneath his massive hand. To free Pegasus, you need to find the Rage of the Titans ability hidden inside the cave. Typhon's finger blocks the entrance to the cave, so attack it with your weapon to proceed.

Instructions

- 1
  Walk left after Typhon grabs Pegasus out of the sky. Jump down to the lower level of the cave. Grab each harpy that attacks you to pull off its wings and kill it.

  Approach the giant stone finger that blocks the cave entrance. Press "Square" to do a light attack or "Triangle" for a heavy attack while facing the finger. After approximately five attacks, the finger lifts up.

  Run under the finger before it goes back down. Enter the cave. Make your way outside and help Prometheus to get the Rage of the Titans.

  Return to the main cavern where Typhon holds Pegasus captive. Press "L3" and "R3" together. The Rage of the Titans activates.

  Attack each of Typhon's fingers using either "Square" or "Triangle." After a few attacks, each finger lifts up and Pegasus escapes. If you do not attack all the fingers fast enough, they drop back down.
