How to Get Gambits in FF12

Go to Rabanastre. This is the first city you encounter in the game.

Walk to the "North End," the northern most section of the town. You can see the layout of Rabanastre and any other city by examining the map from the menu.

Enter the shop on the east side of the North End. It is marked on your map as a yellow diamond.

Talk to the merchant to purchase gambits. There is a large list of gambits available. Each gambit costs between 50-250 gil, the game's unit of currency. This is a very minor sum, even at the beginning of the game.

Enter Nalbina. The entrance is from the Dalmascan Eastersand. You must eventually enter Nalbina as part of the storyline.

Go east at the fork in the road to reach the gambit shop. It is located just up the road from the fork. If you see the weapon shop, you have gone too far.

Go to the Skycity of Bhujerba. You can access it by taking an airship from any city with a port. You must go here during the storyline.

Walk east until you reach the item shop. Follow the road south until you can turn east again. Follow this path into the next section of the city. The gambit shop is directly in front of you.

Go to Archades by using the airship from any port. You must go here as part of the storyline.

Exit the port. The gambit shop is located just down the path from the port, right past the item shop.

Go to Balfonheim by using the airship from any port. You must go here near the end of the game.
