How to Get the Kite Down in Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Although Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was the first game in the series to be released for the sixth generation of consoles, it was also the first not developed by Insomniac Games. Instead, the fourth game of the Spyro series was handled by the now-defunct developer Equinox Digital Entertainment. The game suffered from many technical problems and received negative reviews across the board. A chief complaint was the uninspired level design and tedious gameplay. One level has you fetch three kites out of trees for some baby dragons, a frustrating task due to the annoying camera.

     Use your ice-breath on the baby dragons to freeze them and use them as platforms to jump on, making the kites much more accessible.

     Freeze the first baby dragon to get to the first kite, which is near the same spot you find the electric-breath rune.

     Go to the 'Lonely Island' where you find Dawn and freeze the baby dragon there to get to the second kite.

     Look down over the cliff where you unfroze the final elder dragon and you'll see a ledge with trees on it and the final kite in those trees. Jump down to get it and complete the quest.
