How to Get New Places From Crash Mode in Burnout 3 for PS2

"Crash Junction" is a mode in the PS2 arcade racing game "Burnout 3: Takedown." The aim in this mode is for players to crash into other cars and cause as much damage as possible. Bronze, silver and gold medals are awarded once you have achieved the required amount of points on a track. While you can play "Crash Junctions" separately from the main game, the only way to unlock more tracks set in new places is by playing the "World Tour Mode." You can unlock a total of 100 "Crash Junctions."

Instructions

    • 1

Start the game and select the "World Tour Mode" from the main menu. You will be presented with a series of races and challenges. Complete these with a bronze medal or better to open up new challenges.

    • 2

Select the "Crash Junction" challenges available during the "World Tour Mode." These are available in "America," "Europe" and the "Far East" and become available as you progress through the other challenges in the "World Tour Mode."

    • 3

Get a gold medal in the "Crash Junction" during "World Tour Mode" and you will unlock it for the crash mode as well. To get gold, drive over all the "Cash Multiplier" icons (these have "x2" and "x4" written on them) to double or quadruple your final score. The aim is to destroy as much civilian traffic as possible and get points for it.
