How to Beat the Boss on Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter for PS2

"Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter," released for the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2003, is a hybrid space combat and first-person shooter game developed by Warthog and published by Universal Interactive. Players take the role of Mace Griffin, a futuristic gunslinger uncovering an insidious conspiracy and seeking revenge on his former ally, Richter. The very last boss battle of the game takes place when the player corners Richter on the Tombship.

Instructions

  Keep moving to avoid Richter's grenades when the battle begins. Run from side to side to present a harder target. Hide behind the triangular panels to let your shields recharge if they go down.

  Richter's shields are the strongest of any enemy in the game, so destroy his shields as quickly as you can to really start damaging him. Aim for the head and use an explosive weapon like the grenade launcher on the Heavy Machine Gun to take down the shields faster.

  Use the Sonic Shock Cannon to finish Richter off when you destroy his shields. Aim high and hide behind the second triangular panel when you need to reload. Corner Richter on the right-side of the platform he stands on to prevent him from moving around too much.
