How to Delete Galactic Conquest Files for PS2

"Galactic Conquest" is one of the main gameplay modes on "Star Wars: Battlefront" for the PlayStation 2. As you progress through Galactic Conquest, you are prompted to save your data to the memory card inserted into the PS2. If you want to delete a previous game save, you can do so manually by accessing the memory card directly through the PS2's browser system. This process may be used to delete any game-save data stored on your PS2 memory card.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove any discs from your PlayStation 2, insert the memory card with the "Star Wars: Battlefront" data saved on it and turn on the PS2. Highlight the "Browser" option and press "X."

    • 2

Highlight the "Memory Card" icon and press "X" to reveal the list of game data saved to the memory card. Each file is represented by an animated icon designed after an aspect of the game. For example, a "Final Fantasy" game save may be represented by a Chocobo running around.

    • 3

Scroll through the game saves until you find the "Star Wars: Battlefront" data. Highlight the file you want to delete and press "X" to bring up the data management menu. Highlight "Delete" and press "X" to remove the file from your PS2 memory card.
