How Do I Get the Battle Axe for Goro in Dark Cloud?

Goro's Battle Ax, which has an attack rating of 65, is a formidable weapon in the early levels of "Dark Cloud." You can begin adding gems with the battle ax and work toward evolving the ax into one of Goro's ultimate weapons, the Inferno.

Goro will join your party and help collect Atla to rebuild Matataki Village after you gain access to Wise Owl Forest. You'll earn Goro's Battle Ax from the Great Treant when the construction is complete.

Instructions

  Complete Territory 1 through Territory 8 in Wise Owl Forest. Collect all of the Atla in each area. Return to Matataki Village.

  Enter Georama mode. Reassemble Cacao's House and reconnect the river to the Great Treant. Speak with Cacao to receive the Odd Tone Flute, then speak with the Great Treant to receive the Serpent Sword.

  Enter Territory 9 in Wise Owl Forest. Go to the cave and play the Odd Tone Flute to summon the Killer Snake. Win a duel against the Killer Snake to receive the Bone Pendant. Return to the village and show this item to Goro. He will join your party.

  Complete Territory 10 through Territory 16 in Wise Owl Forest. Collect all the Atla in each level and you will have all the pieces necessary to rebuild the village.

  Enter the Georama menu and reassemble all the pieces of the village. Visit each house and speak with the residents. They will tell you where they want their houses to be. Position each house according to their requests. Check the "Georama Analysis" menu option to monitor your progress.

  Speak with the Great Treant when the village is reassembled and all three areas of the Georama Analysis are at 100 percent. You will receive Goro's Battle Ax.
