How to Get Hidden Boss Fights on Kingdom Hearts II

Sephiroth

  Defeat Sark and the "Master Control Program" during the second visit to "Space Paranoids." Beating these villains from Disney's "Tron" will initiate a sequence of events that turns the "Hollow Bastion" location into the "Radiant Garden."

  Visit "Radiant Garden" and venture into the "Ravine Trail." You'll encounter the "Crystal Fissure," which you passed through to defeat 1,000 "Heartless" earlier in the game. Continue forward to reach "The Dark Depths" and spot the main villain of "Final Fantasy VII."

  Approach Sephiroth and initiate a conversation. Sephiroth will challenge Sora to a duel and a boss fight will commence. This hidden boss is available in all versions of "Kingdom Hearts II."

Absent Silhouettes and Data Battles

  Pay the "Peddler's Shop" a visit in the remodeled version of "Agrabah." If you are playing "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix," you will now find a portal that leads to a hidden boss battle with Vexen.

  Revisit the "Sandlot," the hometown of Sora's "Nobody" counterpart, Roxas. When you return to this area as Sora, you will do battle with some "Nobodies." After slaying these enemies, you'll find a portal that leads to a secret boss battle with Lexaeus.

  Head to Isla de Muerta. This "Pirates of the Caribbean" themed world contains a portal that can be accessed when Sora arrives by ship at "Rock Face." Enter the portal to face Larxene.

  Fight Marluxia by entering a portal found in "Beast's Castle." This option becomes available after the protagonist from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" decides to join Sora's cause.

  Enter the portal that opens in the "Underworld" location, the "Cave of the Dead." This passage to fight Zexion only appears after Sora and crew have returned to the "Underworld" after fleeing from the invincible Hades.

  Seek out and fight 13 "Replica Data" opponents at the "Garden of Assemblage." This area is located within the "Cavern of Remembrance," found in "Radiant Garden," and contains portals that lead to hidden boss fights. Reveal the locations of these optional battles by using the computer found in the "Garden of Assemblage."

Todomarishi Shinen

• 10

  Defeat Xemnas in "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix" to finish the main story. If you have completed all available tasks in "Jiminy's Journal," you'll witness the "Birth by Sleep" sequence. Save your game after the ending and prepare for one last hidden battle.

  Visit the "Disney Castle" world. You'll discover that a new episode is unlocked. Head down to the "Hall of the Cornerstone" area of the stage.

  Travel through the portal to fight the "Todomarishi Shinen." Level up your character sufficiently before taking on this secret opponent.
