How to Rescue Tormund's Sister From the Shadowglen Forest in Neopets for the PS2

In "Neopets: The Darkest Faerie," players take control of aspiring knight Tormund and sorceress Roberta. Part way through Act 1 of the game, Tormund's sister Lucy becomes lost in Shadowglen Woods. Tormund must rescue her. If he succeeds, he will be allowed to become a knight. Finding her is easy, but the subsequent boss battle can be a challenge if the player isn't prepared for it.

Instructions

  Walk from the family farm down the farm road toward Meridell.

  Look to the left of Prince Tourin once you arrive in the outskirts of Meridell. You will see a narrow path, which ends at the mouth of a cave. This leads to Shadowglen Woods.

  Follow the path until you see a slope on your left. At the top of the slope, a ramp leads to the right. Climb it, and then slide down the rope hanging at the top. Walk up the second ramp, and then climb up the vines to the top. Go up the slope to the right, and then cross the bridge to the left. Slide down the cord at the end of the bridge, and cross the river. Ahead of you will be a cave. Save your game at the nearby save point.

  Fight the Juppie Monster. Attack the vines it sends at you first. When you defeat them, juppies will fall to the ground. Stand on or near one, and wait for the monster to strike at you. Jump out of the way, and then attack the monster's head with your sword. Repeat this process until you defeat the monster. Tormund will then free Lucy and return home.
