How Do You Get Specific Storylines in WWE: SYM?

Stone Cold Steve Austin Storylines

  Choose Stone Cold Steve Austin as your wrestler for season mode. When the mode starts, instead of the typical WWE draft, you have the option to choose either "WWE Smackdown" or "Raw."

  Watch the "Stone Cold" Steve Austin debut clip. He will enter the ring and talk to the crowd about his return. He will mention the specific show that he is on and any champions on that show.

  Play through the 2002 season until you reach February of 2003. If you have any title opportunities before then, deny the matches so you can feud with the nWo.

  Select Hulk Hogan as your opponent at "No Way Out." Instead you will face Kevin Nash. Lose on purpose to Kevin Nash.

  Select a "One-on-One" match against Hulk Hogan. Hogan will deny the match and instead you will face X-Pac. Watch the cut scene as Austin drives his truck to the ring.

  Defeat X-Pac and then another cut scene will play where Austin attacks X-Pac on his truck and then sprays him with beer all over the ring. This is the final Stone Cold Steve Austin cut scenes in "Season Mode."

Vince McMahon and Ric Flair

  Wrestle until the end of the 2003 season. During this time, Vince McMahon and Ric Flair will join forces. Choose to side with the WWE Superstars.

  Select a tag team partner for the tag team championship tournament. You can select anybody on the WWE roster.

  Win the hardcore, steel cage, and TLC tag team matches to reach the finals of the tournament.

  Defeat Vince McMahon and Ric Falir to win the tag team championships. After the match, watch a cut scene where McMahon and Flair fire you. Linda McMahon will show up, rehire you and award you with the tag team titles.

  Win the Wrestlemania main event in the next year. After the match Vince will come to the ring and try to take your belt. Select the "Shut Your Mouth!" selection and your wrestler will beat up Vince McMahon to end the "Season Mode."

nWo Storylines

  Challenge Vince McMahon in February of 2003. He will become irate and then force the nWo into the WWE.

  Select to face either Kevin Nash or X-pac at the "No Way Out" pay per view. After the match, you will drive a mac truck into an ambulance and smash X-Pac. This will set up a feud against Hulk Hogan for Wrestlemania.

  Face Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania and defeat him. After the match, he will join forces with you and transform from his nWo wardrobe and into his classic red and yellow outfit.

  Feud with HBK as he joins the nWo. After the match, Hulk Hogan will rescue you and set up a tag team match for the Backlash pay per view.

  Win the match against Kevin Nash and HBK to do a posedown with Hulk Hogan. Your wrestler and Hulk Hogan will pose all around the ring to Hogan's theme song.
