How Can I Cancel Out the Maps on Final Fantasy 12?

"Final Fantasy XII" is a large, sprawling game spanning dozens of areas including deserts, swamps, grasslands and towns. These areas are automatically mapped and charted as you visit them in the game. You can access the map at any time by opening the menu and selecting "World Map." The World Map shows you all the main areas of the game. By selecting an areas, you can view individual sections with shops, points of interest and entrances to nearby areas. You can then cancel out of the map to continue playing the game.

     Press the "O" button when viewing an area's local map to revert back to the main World Map.

     Press the "O" button again to return to the game's main menu.

   • 3

     Press the "O" button one more time to close the main menu and return to the game. This will unpause the action, so be careful if there are enemies around.
