How to Beat Xaldin in Beasts Castle

In "Kingdom Hearts II," a shadowy group known as Organization XIII seems to appear wherever there is misfortune and sadness. As Sora, the game's hero, you must eventually fight each member of Organization XIII. Each group member has a number, and Xaldin is No. 3. Xaldin confronts you at Beast's Castle, where he is trying to steal the Beast's heart. Beast joins you in battle after you convince him of Xaldin's bad intentions. The "Jump" attack is the key to taking Xaldin down permanently.

Instructions

- 1
  Dodge Xaldin and wait for him to initiate an attack. Right before he attacks, the "Learn" command appears in your menu.

  Press "Triangle" rapidly to execute the "Learn" command. This allows Sora to dodge Xaldin's attacks and strike him a few times.

  Press "Triangle" again when the "Learn" command is replaced by the "Jump" command. This executes a special move that knocks Xaldin down.

  Stay away from Xaldin if you see him glowing green. This allows you to avoid his attack. If Xaldin disappears, start running around the field to avoid the spears that fly down at you.

  Use Cura or potions to heal as soon as you take damage. It is possible to set up your party member's commands so they heal you, allowing you to focus solely on Xaldin.
- 6
  Strike Xaldin with your Keyblade combos as soon as he stops attacking. Continue this until Xaldin's health bar empties.
