How to Unlock the Whole Map on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PS2

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" has three large and distinct land masses that are all eventually available to the player. San Fierro and Las Venturas have to be unlocked through game missions, but the area of Los Santos is available from the beginning. These other areas of the map are designed to be unlocked once you have completed all of the other story missions for the previous sections.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you get the mission called "The Green Sabre" from Sweet Johnson. You'll have to kill all members of the Balla gang before they manage to kill Sweet. Once the mission is over, a cutscene will occur and you will wake up on San Fierro, with the island now unlocked.

  Complete the story missions on San Fierro until you receive a mission called "Yay Ka-Boom-Boom" from the Loco Syndicate. You'll have to destroy a crack factory by driving a vehicle full of explosives into the factory. Drive slowly past the guards, who think you are one of them, and park the vehicle in the red circle.

  Arm the bomb in your vehicle. You'll have 40 seconds to get out of the area before the whole place explodes. Defeat the remaining gang members to complete the mission and unlock the Las Venturas area, the third of the three sections of the map.
