How to Play Star Ocean: Till the End of Time With Two Players

"Star Ocean: Till the End of Time" is a role-playing game set in a science-fiction universe with fantasy elements. Most of the game follows a team of world-saving adventurers. Only a single player can guide them to their fate. However, two players can compete head-to-head in the "Star Ocean" versus mode. To unlock versus mode, players need to acquire the Paracelsus's Table in the Aquatic Gardens of Surferio and then deliver it to Peterny. Once there, they can compete against other players as often as they like.

Instructions

- 1
  Head to the Aquatic Garden of Surferio. It's northwest of Peterny through the Irisa Fields. To access it, go down the staircase on the western side of the map.

  Proceed through the dungeon until you encounter the boss monster, Sculpture Lord. Depending on your experience level, he can be easy or impossibly difficult. If you're having trouble with him, leave the gardens and come back once you have more experience.

  Defeat the Sculpture Lord to receive Paracelsus's Table.

  Take the table to Peterny, which is southeast of the gardens. Give it to Welch, who resides in the inventor's guild.

  Speak with Welch again and she'll ask if you want to fight in Versus Mode. Select "Yes." You can return to her at any time to participate in this two-player mini-game.
