How to Summon Exodia on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists Of The Roses

Granting you an instant win, the five parts of Exodia can crush any opponent in the PlayStation 2 video game "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist of the Rose." The five cards -- Exodia the Forbidden One, The Left Arm of Exodia, The Right Arm of Exodia, The Left Leg of Exodia and The Right Leg of Exodia -- are powerless on their own, but when they come together the duel automatically ceases and you are proclaimed the winner. Building a deck that will increase your odds of summoning Exodia can be the difference.

Instructions

  Defeat other Yu-Gi-Oh! trainers with the Exodia the Forbidden One card in the deck to help the card gain experience and become your deck leader. Gain experience points for the Exodia the Forbidden One card by keeping the card face-up on the playing field, using the card to attack other monster cards, and having the card on the field at the end of the match. The experience points system is dependent on the enemy's level of difficulty; defeat trainers until the Exodia the Forbidden One card has reached the 1st Lt. ranking.

  Access the game's main menu, click the "Deck" option, and then select the "Deck Edit" option. Scroll down your list of cards, highlight Exodia the Forbidden One, and press "Start" to make Exodia the Forbidden One your deck leader. Choosing Exodia the Forbidden One as your deck leader is mandatory if you want to summon Exodia to the field. As your deck leader, Exodia the Forbidden One acts as the head of Exodia.

  Construct a Yu-Gi-Oh! deck that enables you to summon Exodia swiftly. Cards, such as Pot of Avarice and Pot of Greed allow you to pick additional cards from your deck -- which increases the probability of receiving the four required cards.

  Utilize cards such as "Swords of Revealing Light" to help protect your four Exodia cards while they are on the field. The four other parts of Exodia have low attack and defense points, so summoning them without protection hurts your chances of successfully summoning Exodia.

  Start the duel with six cards, and then highlight your "Yu-Gi-Oh!" deck. Press "X" to pick up an extra card. If you did not receive all four Exodia cards in your original hand -- it's a high probability that you will not acquire all four in your initial hand -- pick up a card every turn until you have collected all four.

  Play the four Exodia cards in face-up defense or attack position to summon Exodia. With the deck leader in the center of a three-by-three grid, play the four cards in the eight remaining spots that surround the deck leader. According to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses IGN Walkthrough, the cards can be summoned in any pattern.
