Vespoids are a type of enemy monster that appears in various titles in the "Monster Hunter" video game franchise. They resemble enormous mosquitos and tend to attack in swarms. Unlike most monsters, Vespoids do not have a preferred habitat and can be found in virtually any environment, though they like to hover along walls. Vespoids carry a paralyzing poison that can incapacitate players, leaving them open to further attacks. A particular method is effective for killing Vespoids regardless of the "Monster Hunter" game you encounter them in.

Equip a weapon with a midgrade or higher damage rating.

Apply poison to your weapon.

Attack the Vespoids. They will die easily as they are weak against poison.
