How to Max the Hermit Social Link in Persona 4

"Persona 4" is a role-playing game for the Sony PlayStation 2 console that places the player in the role of a high school student battling forces of evil by traveling to a secret world. A high school simulation aspect is also a big part of the game -- the player goes through the day-to-day events of a high school student, joins clubs and earns money by working part-time in locations throughout the city. The simulation portion of the game builds "social links," which are representations of relationships the player has with other characters. Increasing social link ranks grants additional powers and upgrades attributes.

  Acquire the Hermit social link automatically on the fifth of May. A cut-scene will occur automatically and the Hermit social link is added to the player's list.

  Accept requests from the message board at the Tatsuhime Shrine. Each request requires you to speak to a specific person and will increase the Hermit social link rank by one. The Tatsuhime Shrine is available any day during daylight hours.

  Level up the Hermit social link to rank nine by completing requests. A guide to each message board request can be found on GameFAQs.
- 4
  Catch a Guardian Fish on the 11th of August to max the Hermit social link. Catching it requires an Advanced Fishing Rod.
