How to Get Rank Points in ESPN 2K5 Basketball for PS2

"ESPN 2K5 Basketball" is a basketball game released for the PlayStation 2. In the game, you can create your own character and build him up through the main career mode. By creating your own character, you can distribute different points to his different stats. One of the many aspects of your character that you can customize is "rank." You can increase your character's "rank" by gaining "rank points."

     Select "24/7 Mode" and select your character.

     Choose any of the various arenas from the arena selection screen. You will be squared off against a character in a game of "21."

     Defeat your opponent by being the first to reach 21 points. Once you have defeated your opponent, you will gain "rank points" and your "rank" will increase.
