Superman: Shadow of Apokolips
"Superman: Shadow of Apokolips" is an action/adventure video game published in 2002 by Atari. Based on the television series "Superman: The Animated Series," the game features the fictional city of Metropolis being attacked by a powerful group of robots called Interbots. Following orders from Superman's arch nemesis, the robots catch the attention of Superman, and he is forced to face the Interbots in Metropolis and their home planet of Apokolips.
Batman: Vengeance
"Batman: Vengeance" is an action game published in 2001 by Ubisoft. The game is based on "The New Batman Adventures" series and features the fictional Gotham City recreated in a three-dimensional environment. Batman faces some of his most dangerous adversaries, including The Joker, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. The game also features many of Batman's signature gadgets, including the Batmobile, Grappling Gun, Bat-grenades and the Batarangs.
He-Man: Defender of Grayskull
"He-Man: Defender of Grayskull" is a single-player adventure game published by Midas Interactive Entertainment in 2005. The game is based on the animated series "Masters of the Universe," and features He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. Following a masterful plot by the nefarious Skeletor to attack He-Man's castle, Grayskull, He-Man loses his powers and is captured by Skeletor. He-Man must find a way to escape from Skeletor and regain his powers before Grayskull is lost forever.
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
"Spider-Man: Web of Shadows" is a two-dimensional, side-scrolling action game published by Amaze Entertainment in 2008. The game takes place in New York, where a symbiote has infested New York City. Spider-Man himself has been partially possessed by the symbiote, which grants him super strength and destructive powers. With the help of Wolverine, Spider-Man must use his new-found power to help clean up New York. Along the way, Spider-Man must also face villains including Venom, Vulture, Black Cat and Moon Knight.
