The Hobbit PS2 Instructions

In "The Hobbit" for the Sony PlayStation 2, you play as Bilbo Baggins from the J.R.R. Tolkien novel. You travel to locales from the novel in this 2003 adventure, as well as new areas created just for this game. Meet Gandalf the wizard, encounter the odd creature Gollum and fight the dragon Smaug in "The Hobbit." This game features relatively easy controls, which allows younger kids to play too.

Instructions

  Use the left analog stick to highlight items on the menu screen. Select an item with the "X" button and cancel a selection (and return to the previous screen) with the "Square" button.

  Jump with the "X" button during game play. This button also rotates and selects objects.

  Lock onto targets with the "Triangle" button and attack with the "Square" button. The "Square" button also grabs enemies and activates objects.

  Cycle through your weapons with the "Circle" button.

  Move Bilbo and objects with the left analog stick. Hold the "L1" button to crouch and sneak around.

  Press the "R2" button to equip and unequip Bilbo's ring. Toggle the camera modes with the "R1" button.

  Use the right analog stick to move the camera for a different view.

  Pause the game with the "Start" button and use the "L1" and "R1" buttons to cycle through the pause menu screens.
