How to Freeze the Monsters in Monster Rancher 4 for a PS2

"Monster Rancher 4" allows you to create and train your own monsters and then use them to do battle or to explore the world around you. Monsters are made when you put different CDs or DVDs into your PlayStation 2 console. For instance, putting a certain movie into the console might cause a special monster, like Joker, to appear. When your monsters get too old to battle, or if you want to use a different kind of monster, it is possible to freeze them. Once they are frozen, you are able to use them to make new monsters.

  Wait for the first week of May to arrive in the game if you have just started playing. At this time, the Association is unlocked.

  Select the Association from the map to travel there. Walk up to the woman behind the desk.

  Speak to the woman, and when she asks what you want to do, choose "Retire." When asked if you want to freeze the monster, say "Yes."
- 4
  Combine the frozen monster with another one, if you wish, to create a new monster with its parents' stats and abilities. If you do not want to combine the monster, you may delete it.
