How to Get Past the Snails in Finding Nemo on the PS2

In the middle of "Finding Nemo" for PlayStation 2, players help Nemo pass a series of Gill's tests to prove he has what it takes to help the gang from the fish tank break free. Gill asks Nemo to flatten snails in his garden, but completing the task is harder than it sounds. You have to flatten 26 snails in total, but after a short period of time the snails will spring back to life. To beat the test, Nemo must flatten each snail before the first snail he flattened pops back up.

Instructions

  Press the "Square" button to jump onto the snails and flatten them. Press the "X" button to increase your speed while you move from snail to snail.

  Start from the bottom row and work your way to the top, moving from right to left. This is the easiest path to take and can help you complete the task in the allotted time.

  Abandon the remaining snails and return to the beginning if the first snail has popped back up before you have completed the task. It is easier to start over fresh each time than to finish and try to loop back around to get the snails that have popped back up.

  Repeat this process until you manage to flatten each snail before the first snail pops back up.
