Instructions on How to Play the Destroy All Humans 2 PS2 Video Game

"Destroy All Humans 2" upgrades the weapons from the previous game and sets your character in the 1960's. Your goal is given away in the game title, as you need to use all your weapons and abilities to rid the world of all those pesky humans. The controls vary depending on if you're in your natural alien state, flying a UFO or controlling the body of a human.

Instructions

Basic Game Controls

  Press the "X button to jump. Hold down the "X" button to activate the jetpack. Hold down the "Square" button to select a weapon.

  Press the "R1" button to fire the selected weapon. Hold down the "Circle" button to perform a "Mind Flash" attack.

  Press the "L1" button to select an ability. Press the "Start" button to pause and bring up the game menu. Press the "Select" button to access the navigation map.

  Use the left joystick to walk or run. Use the right joystick to move the camera around.

  Hold the "L1" button and press "Triangle" to activate "Psychokinesis." Press the "Triangle" button while using this ability to throw items. Press the "Square" button while using this ability to push items and the "Circle" button to pull items.

  Hold the "L1" button and press "Square" rapidly to order a target to forget, follow or protect. Hold the "L1" button and press circle rapidly to order "Free Love." Hold the "L1" button and press "X" rapidly to extract the brain and transmogrify when you're targeting inanimate objects.
Flying Saucer Controls

  Press the "Triangle" button to land or take off while over a landing zone. Press the "X" button to use the "Gene Blender" attack. Press the "L2" button to cloak the ship.

  Hold down the "Square" button to choose a weapon. Press "R1" to fire the weapon. Press "L1" to use the "Abducto Beam."

  Press "Circle" to use the "Navi-Com" system to help in navigation. Use the left joystick to move forward or backward and to strafe left or right. Use the right joystick to ascend or descend.
Body Snatch Controls

  Press the "Triangle" button rapidly to take over a human body. Tap "Triangle" to talk to other humans and hold "Triangle" down again to exit the human body. Tap the "X" button repeatedly to sprint.

  Press the "L1" button to lock onto a target. Press "L1" and "Square" to follow a target and press the two buttons repeatedly to protect a target.

  Press "L1" and "Circle" to use the "Free Love/Drain" ability. Press "L1" and "X" to perform a "Cortex Scan" or tap the two buttons rapidly to transmogrify a target. Press "L1" and "Triangle" to perform Psychokinesis.
