In "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi," players enter the world of the anime television show, then battle for supremacy with dozens of different characters. Each character, like Gohan, Goku and Vegeta, has his own powerful attacks and special moves. Players must earn some of these abilities, however. One ability available to players is Dragon Power. This ability, when mixed with the Miracle power, creates the "Master's Skills" bonus. With Master's Skills active, players benefit from a quicker lock-on speed in battle, as well as an increased Dragon Homing count.

Start the game and open the "Ultimate Battle" mode. Choose "Warrior Training."

Set the difficulty to "normal," or higher, if desired. Select your character from the fighters roster.

Play the game until you have won 10 different battles. You don't need to beat 10 battles in a row, so even if you lose, your victories still count toward your progress. After this, Dragon Power unlocks.
