How to Unlock Level 4 Weapons in Samurai Warriors 2

"Samurai Warriors 2" is a video game with an unusual blend of action and strategy, though most of the game entails hacking at enemies with a samurai character. Each samurai the player can choose from has his own campaign line and a choice of four weapons of increasing strength. To get a samurai's fourth and final weapon, the player must perform several steps. The first two are the same for each samurai, though the last is unique to the character and campaign, and it ranges from killing 1000 enemies to personally defeating all of the enemy generals.

Instructions

  Complete the story mode adventure for the samurai whose fourth level sword you want.

  Start a new game with that samurai in "Hard" mode. During this playthrough, you'll need to complete a special objective to get his sword. This objective varies from samurai to samurai.

  Get Yukimura Sanada's army to advance during the Osaka Campaign. In order to do this, take out the enemy's cannon and then defeat the enemies, Ina and Masamune. Once you've done this, return to your castle. You'll find Yukimura's ultimate weapon in a black box on the second floor.

  Kill 1000 enemies with Keiji Maeda during the Battle of Hasedo. Once you've killed them, a supply team arrives near your stronghold. Kill off their captain to get Keiji's ultimate weapon.

  Rescue all five generals with Nobunaga Oda during the Battle of Tedorigawa. Each general will be surrounded by enemies. Clear these enemies out before they can kill your allies. Once you've done this, a supply team appears south of your keep. Kill them off to earn Nobunaga's ultimate weapon.

  Defeat the enemy generals during Mitsuhide Unites Japan. In the process, do not lose more than four generals. A supply team will appear in your keep. Kill them to take the Mitsuhide's ultimate sword.

  Eliminate the Hashiba Army, Mitsuhide Akechi and Ranmaru Mori during Conquest for Kyushu. In the process, activate the geyser by walking by it. Kill the supply team in Uesugi's camp to get Kenshin's sword.

  Rescue Nagamasa Azai during the Incident at Shizugatake, and then defeat Nobunaga Oda, No, Ginchiyo Tachibana, Ina, Ranmaru Mori, Nene and Okuni in that order. Kill the supply team south of the western fort to get Oichi's sword.

  Play as Okuni in survival mode. Climb to the 61st floor of the tower. Save the game. If you don't receive the quest The Traveling Dancer, then reset and load again until you get it. Complete the quest's objectives. When you defeat Keiji Maeda, he'll drop Okuni's ultimate weapon.

  Kill Nobunaga Oda in under 10 minutes during Escape from Honnoji. Take out the supply team in the southwest area to get Saika's sword.

  Defeat Hideyoshi Hashiba and Tadakatsu Honda during the Battle of Nagashino. Take out the supply team by the southwestern garrison to get Takeda's sword.

  Knock out all the enemy generals (except Ieyasu Tokugawa) without using your army during the Showdown at Mikatagahara. Do not lose any allies, either. Defeat the supply team in the northwestern garrison to get Date's sword.

  Rescue Nobutada Oda during the Incident at Honnoji. Do not go near Ranmaru Mori until he's defeated. If you activate the mission "Rescue Ranmaru Mori" then you cannot get the sword. Once Ranmaru is defeated by an enemy general, take out the supply team by the western stronghold to get No's sword.

  Kill Yukimura Sanada and all the Kotaro Fumas during the Siege of Ueda Castle. Grab the sword from the black box in the first floor of the main keep to get Hattori's sword.

  Defeat all the enemy generals except Ujimasa Hojo and Ujinao Hojo during Siege of Odawara Castle. Do not use your army. Grab the sword from a supply team in your main camp to get Ina's sword.

  Kill all the enemy generals except Mitsunari Ishida during the Battle of Sekigahara. Even if a general normally defects to your side, kill him. Take the sword from the supply team in the northwest to get Tokugawa's sword.

  Defeat all enemy generals except Ieyasu Tokugawa during the Battle of Sekigahara. None of your allies can die. Take the sword from the supply team in the southern castle to get Shima's sword.

  Kill Date, Honda, Hattori and Ina during the Last Stand against Ieyasu. Do not lose any allies. Grab the sword from the supply team in the central keep to get Naoe's sword.

  Defeat Ieyasu Tokugawa before he can escape during Chaos in Kyoto. Grab the sword from the supply team in the central fort to get Miyamoto's sword.

  Kill all the enemy generals without letting a single one enter your strongholds during the Tournament of Champions. Defeat the supply team by the central garrison to get Honda's sword.

  Defeat Toshiie Maeda during Battle of Shizugatake. You must do this before he glows red. If you succeed, he'll retreat. Take down Keiji Maeda and then the supply team in the western fort to get Toyotomi's sword.
