How to Get Data Cores on Destroy All Humans 2

Data Cores in "Destroy All Humans! 2" are extra power-ups that lead to weapon and attack upgrades. One of the side missions in the game is to find all 16 cores. The are cores in all four game locations. Many are in plain view on top of buildings, but others are harder to find. Almost half are in Bay City, which you run into during the first half of game play.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the rooftops during the first mission. The first Data Core is on a roof directly west of the landing zone near the "Hashbury" building.

    • 2

Collect five Data Cores in Mission 3. Go through southwest Gingsberg and approach the small lake to get the first one. The second is north of Gingsberg at the tip of the bay. Two more are at the four-way intersection, and the last is at the top of the hill by the large tower.

    • 3

Battle Bongwater in the final mission for Bay City. After you beat Bongwater, go into the underground tunnel and start walking. The Data Core is at the end of the tunnel.

    • 4

Find three Data Cores in the "Albion" level. Enter "Hyde Park" and travel north until you find one near the end of the park. Go to the southeast side of the park, and there is a data core in the underground tunnel. Finish Mission 8, then go to the far side of the hill for the final "Albion" data core.

    • 5

Look for Gouka Road at the edge of Takoshima City. A Data Core appears just at the end of the road. Another one is in the back room of the Ninja compound, but you must complete the 12th mission to get it.

    • 6

Search every room of the damaged Castle Kuro for one Data Core. After you leave the castle, head directly to the "Zen Temple" to get the last Data Core in the city of Takoshima.

    • 7

Find the last two Data Cores during Mission 20 in Tunguska. The first is between trees on top of a hill in western Tunguska. The other is in a large crate at the Tunguska cooling tower.
