How to Get Pandora's Box When You First Enter the Temple in God of War.

In the game "God of War" for the PlayStation 2 (or PlayStation 3, if you're playing the Collection version), the fight before the main character Kratos reaches Pandora's Box is hailed as one of the most frustrating, time-consuming and unnecessary fights in the entire game. You have to deal with airborne Harpies and archers shooting you from a distance, all while running on a series of conveyor belts that are pulling you toward stone rollers that can smash you flat. However, there is a way to "glitch" the fight as soon as you enter the temple so that you don't have to deal with the Harpies or archers.

Instructions

    • 1

Go down the spiral staircase as soon as you enter Pandora's Temple.

    • 2

Walk through the doorway at the bottom and down the small flight of stairs to the archway. This will trigger a cut scene that shows the conveyor belts and the path to Pandora's Box.

    • 3

Walk close to the archway as soon as the cut scene ends and the fight music starts, but don't wander too far out. Instead, hug the left side of the archway as you slowly edge forward.

    • 4

Step onto the conveyor belt, staying as far back as you can. Let the conveyor belt carry you left until you are almost about to be crushed by the stone roller.

    • 5

Run forward. Stay close to the stone roller. Jump onto the raised platform in front of you and keep moving forward toward Pandora's Box to reach the Box without triggering the fight event.
