How to Do the Cancel a Mission Cheat in GTA IV for PS3

"Grand Theft Auto IV" allows you to play as an aspiring gangster who seeks to dominate the criminal underworld of the fictional Liberty City, which is patterned after modern-day New York. In "GTA IV," the protagonist is Niko Bellic, a hard-hearted Eastern European tough. This game allows you to use cheat codes that affect the gameplay and missions, but if you complete a mission with a cheat activated, you won't be able to advance to the next mission. There is no way to cancel a mission via a cheat code, but you can cancel it in other ways.

     End the mission by killing off your character. When you come back to life, the mission you were on will be cancelled and you'll be able to start another mission.

     Start a new game. This will cancel the mission you're on and disable any cheat codes you've entered.

     Allow yourself to get arrested during a mission, which will end the mission you're on.

     Wait for the mission to end on its own, if it's a timed mission. Some missions are time-sensitive. These missions will end if you don't complete them in the allotted time frame.
