How to Make It Dark in GTA 4

"Grand Theft Auto IV" (GTA4) is the fourth installment of the popular "Grand Theft Auto" series released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in April of 2008. GTA4 has received a review rating of 10 from IGN, the highest possible. There are a lot of cheats in GTA4, including one that allows you to change the weather and the time of day. To turn day to night, you may have to repeat this cheat two or three times because the changes are random.

Instructions

  Start GTA4 and load your character's save file. Skip all the cut-scenes and walk outside to an open area.

  Press the "Up" button on your directional pad. Your character will pull out his or her cellphone. Press the "Up" Button a second time to bring up the cellphone's keypad.

  Enter "468-555-0100" and press the "Send" button on the on-screen keypad. The time of day will randomly change. If the time of day does not change to night on the first attempt, repeat until darkness falls.
