Resistance: Fall of Man Cheats

Sony Computer Entertainment's "Resistance: Fall of Man" for the PlayStation 3 puts you in the shoes of an American soldier during a fictional 1951 alien invasion. In this fast-paced first-person shooter, you'll use outlandish weapons to combat freakish creatures in single- and multi-player modes. Though there are no known cheats or codes for "Resistance," you can unlock numerous secret items and take advantage of glitches and tricks to get the most out of your game.

Secret Weapons
- Fantastical weapons are one of the main draws of "Resistance: Fall of Man." Beat the game once on any difficulty mode to unlock five new weapons that aren't available the first time around. These secret weapons include the Reaper, the L11-2 Dragon, the Arc Charger, the Splitter and the Backlash Grenade, which is the most powerful grenade in the game.
Secret Rewards
- Earn "Resistance" skill points by completing certain in-game tasks. These tasks range from completing missions within a certain time limit to blowing up all the cars in town during the Somerset mission. These skill points yield hidden rewards. Ten points unlock the Concept Art Pack 1, while 20 points earn the Concept Art Pack 2. With 70 skill points, you can unlock the "flipped levels" mode, which allows you to play through mirrored levels. One hundred points unlocks the Clank Backpack item, and 126 points unlocks the MP Mechanic skin for the multi-player modes.
Secret Skins
- Skins allow you to change your appearance in the online multi-player modes of "Resistance: Fall of Man." You'll unlock skins as your online profile "levels up" when you play and win online matches. Reaching level one unlocks the U.S. soldier skin, while level 10 unlocks pouches and helmets for medics. Level 31 yields the British desert uniform and VTOL pilot skin. At the top tier, reaching level 60 unlocks the secret Nathan Hale skin, belt packs, a shovel and a backpack. You can also unlock secret skins by registering for My Resistance online, gaining points in the Campaign mode and beating the campaign mode on Superhuman difficulty.
Other Unlockables
- Beat the game on the "Hard" difficulty setting to unlock an even more challenging difficulty level known as "Superhuman." Beating the game on "Superhuman" mode and collecting every skill point unlocks the secret Black Ops multi-player skin, which features a skull head design. Complete matches, defeat opponents, get melee kills and play in ranked games online to open Soldier Medals, which serve as trophies to show off your achievements. View your medals by pressing L1 or R1 at the "Character Stats" screen.
